Three new pollution surveillance systems for India

We are very happy to announce that we have received another order for a long-standing customer. Hindustan Aeronautics (HAL) in Kanpur will equip another 3 of the Dornier 228 aircraft operated by the Indian Coast Guard with our system.

The system will include a new SLAR, IR/UV and cameras supplied by ST Airborne Systems to HAL who will install them in the aircraft. Our system and sensors will, together with other sensors on board the aircraft, be integrated with an overarching mission system. Finally, we will provide adequate training to Indian Coast Guard personnel.

Since 2009 the Indian Coast Guard is already operating three of our systems and now all six aircraft will be able to cooperate. We look forward to working with HAL to provide the Indian Coast Guard with this augmented capacity to survey the busy oceans around India.
