My Journey: Innovation grows where well-being flows
After years of working for multiple Swedish Defence Agencies and the Government, I was eager to move on and explore the private sector. I wanted a role where I could challenge myself, work with advanced technology, and collaborate in an innovative environment. ST Airborne Systems turned out to be the perfect fit.
What stood out to me was the combination of airborne surveillance systems and services, and the agile way of working. Add to that a team of bright, dedicated minds, and I knew I had found a place where I could thrive. The company’s long history of developing robust systems and products, along with the stability and camaraderie of the team, has made my transition incredibly rewarding.
What I value at ST Airborne Systems
For me, the success of any business is closely tied to the well-being and spirit of its employees. I can confidently say that I love coming to work every morning. My colleagues are not only exceptionally skilled but also supportive and fun to work with. With that kind of environment, tackling new challenges and responsibilities feels exciting rather than daunting.
Right now, my work focuses on several critical areas. I’m updating our Management System, ensuring we meet proper ISO certifications, and upgrading internal policies to keep us at the forefront of best practices. One of my most important ongoing responsibilities is improving our workplace environment. Ensuring that everyone here feels safe, supported, and empowered is something I deeply care about.
Business culture – Collaborative
Open communication is at the heart of our culture, and every day we share ideas, give feedback and innovate together. At ST Airborne Systems everyone is a colleague, team member and friend.
Our meetings are anything but ordinary. We often combine them with engaging presentations, whether it’s about someone’s personal adventures, a new idea for an upgrade, or testing new software. This culture of curiosity and creativity makes our workday both productive and enjoyable. We’re constantly supporting each other’s ideas and aren’t afraid to try and evaluate new innovations.
Looking to the future
My journey at ST Airborne has been about more than just professional growth; it’s about being part of a team that values both its people and its mission. I’m proud to contribute to an environment where well-being and innovation go hand in hand.
Every day brings new challenges and opportunities, and I look forward to continuing this work – whether it’s improving systems, developing policies, or fostering an even stronger team spirit.
Together, we’re building a workplace that I’m truly proud to call my own.
